Amen to enough of Bush and his phony war! I knew I did a good job with you kids. It's always wonderful to find one who thinks rather than parrots. Yes, I am out here, but it's such a busy life being retired. I spend my time going to funerals, sometimes of my former students, but usually their parents and my contemporaries. We just returned from one in Memphis, and I thought I would check on John Ed.

Didn't you love Leslie Criss's article on those fake stories about Obama and others? Our friends and relatives send us that slander all the time, but they will never admit they are wrong, nor will they respond when I send them the Snopes.com information that provides evidence of the falsehoods. What do you suppose those pseudo-Christians think of Christ's admonitions regarding slander and false witness. In fact, in the allegedly beloved Ten Commandmants, there seems to be a word or two about bearing false witness, or do you think I might just be confused in my old age?
